As part of an Austrade promotion in Japan, local restaurants were encouraged to develop menus using Australian premium produce. The winning restaurants, across a number of categories, were able to send to Melbourne a representative to experience first Australian premium produce and to see where it comes from.
For all the winners this was their first visit to Australia and for some the first time they had actually left Japan.
Platform6 won the pitch to provide the local publicity for the visit across regional, trade and metropolitan media. We teamed up with Steve Christo Photography to provide great content for both media and Austrade social media platforms.
Outcomes from the visit included an excellent piece on SBS World News; a great interview on ABC Radio Country Hour and numerous trade and regional publications.
